I have a '96 XJ with 143,300, and with the amount I drive (150-200 miles a week) it's gonna add up fast.

My 89 has 182K now, bought in '05 with 156K...Original engine. Unfortunately, the PO is not known for his maintenance or mechanical abilities....but I got a heck of a deal! The XJ really needs EVERYTHING done, but it doesn't complain much.

250K +
Last week it was over 250K but this week it died due to over heating the engine. Son was driving, it opened a leak in the radiator but he did not relize he was running without water. He arrived home with it knocking really bad. Still starts and runs but on 5 cylinders. It has been thru alot of neglect and abuse but running without water is what killed it.
