I got an 89 with 197+k on her. Runs like a champ. Will be replacing the rear end in the next few weeks with a chryco 8.25. I have seen some folks on here saying they got 240+. Just curious to see how long I have with this engine.

 

I've known people to get 350K plus on there 4.0L taken care of it's a motor that can almost run forever..

 

my 1993 xj had 200,000 on it before i sold it. when i did sell it, it had no problems at all. ran real good. just couldnt pass up the deal on my 1996 xj that now has 127,000

 

My XJ have 127000 and runs as new!!!

 

this one has 187000 on it and still runs good. my first xj that i had had 272000 miles on it when i sold it and the motor ran fine but i blew up the tranny and didnt have the money to fix it.

 

211,000 on my first engine but it had never seen but 3 documented oil changes when I got it with 131,000 on the clock. New engine has 37.000 on it now.

 

2001 with original motor, 86,000 miles. still young

It'll be under 100,000 for at least 3 or 4 more years. It hardly gets any miles and i have to change the oil every 6 months, not 3000 miles.

 

Almost 103,000. Hope to get a lot more out of it!

 

ummm miles im not sure but I have just under 300,000 kilometers on it.

 

You have around 200,000 miles on it. I just multiply by 2/3 for a rough and ready conversion of km to mi.

 

My wife's jeep has 105,000 miles on it; a '95.

 

I got a 2001 xj with about 12600 on it... practically new

 

99 has ~270K.. my 88 had 350K before it blew up (was on a long trip and the propellers on the water pump wore to nothing and it kept over heating - made it home limping) and my 89 had 280 before someone decides to slam into it in a parking lot.

 

I bought my 94 in March of 07 with 56200 miles on it, now it has 77800 miles on it all original miles.

 

Where did you manage to get one with that low of mileage? That's crazy low from what i see looking at them..
