1999 221,000 uses a qt. of oil about every 900 mi. (a leak) runs perfect even with the 3.55 gears and 33x12.50x15 tires. 17 mpg hi-way loaded with every piece of recovery gear for my son and myself, tools, parts we both have XJ's.

The 95 i just bought a month ago with 498k miles just turned 500k all i had to do to it was replace the radiator, hoses, water pump, exhaust from the header back with the o2 sensors, the return cooler line for the trans and the linkage bracket for the transfer case. Wheel bearings need to be replaced next but not bad for a jeep i paid $700 for. I charged the A/C to but now the problem is I don't have heat now lol.

the odometer on my 89' says 158,xxx but the engine has only about 30,xxx on it now. was rebuilt when the previous owner had it. runs smooth and strong lol.
