Question How high is my lift?

I bought my 99 Cherokee recently from a guy who knew nothing about details of the Jeep. He bought it the way it was and never asked the previous owner about it. I have a Rubicon Express lift but am trying to find out the exact lift height. Any help would be appreciated.

Find a stock Jeep and measure from the ground, to the unibody, then do the same with yours. This will give you a rough idea and we could pinpoint it from there.

Okay so here is how to do it:

measure from the axle tube to the unibody frame rail.

Stock front: 6.75"
rear stock: 6"

anything more than that is your lift. Make surebitbis the top of the axle tube and nothing else and the bottom of the frame rail only

I read on here that the Gen 1s are roughly 17 inches from the center of the hub to the fender lip. Measure your jeep and subtract 17 from that and you should get a good approximation of your lift. Measuring from the ground will give you lift plus the difference in tire height.

I think those tires come out to just over 31", so eyeballing the distance of the tire to the flare and looking at the angle of your lower control arms mounted in stock location, it appears to be a 4.5" lift. Looks like a full spring pack in rear, unless the add a leaf has sagged.
Is there a block betweenunder the spring pack and the axle tube, maybe about 1" tall?
If so it's likely a 4.5 inch Super Flex lift RE6111 with sagging add a leaf.
If you see NO block under the leafs and a longer shackle than stock i.e. there's actually some distance between the top and bottom lol, then it's the RE6130 4.5" lift with full packs, shackles etc.

Could be a 3.5" but those LCA angles are way too steep I think for a 3.5

Looks like a 3.5 to me. Thats exactly how my lca's look. If you measure it you might come up with 4.5 or so because re's lifts tend to sit much higher than advertised. I have heard that the re 4.5" kit sits around 5-5.5", and your's looks like it sits about where mine does. if you get a better pic of the shock we may be able to help you more. They do look like re shocks though.

Looks like my leafs are shot. I have 6.75 to 7" in the rear and 8.5" in the front.
