How hard would it be to "undo" welded spiders?
So I've been looking for some axles from a four hanger. Guy has a non c-clip d35 on cl for a hundred bucks with 4.11s that I can probly talk him down on. However he welded the spiders. I'm wondering how hard/if its possible to get new spiders and put them in or if this is not really even doable. Oh and don't tell me to just toss in an 8.8. I want bolt in

Ditto on that, not worth it on a D35. Look into a Chrysler 8.25 if your wanting a direct bolt in. Beefier and reasonably priced.

you would need a new carrier at least. if done right itll use at least 5-6 lbs of wire off the spool if welded with a mig, that wire is part of the carrier now.
iv got a detroit locker inside a rear end with 456 gears ill sell ya the whole thing or just pieces at this point
