Ive finally had it with AX-15s. My 1995 cherokee tears um apart first one I lost 1st an reverse so I get another one change a few parts good to go. Well now this one has lost 4th an reverse is starting to go I miss my AW4 this cherokee has been nothin but a problem child. So how hard would it be to swap out to an auto
The ax-15 is not known for getting easily torn up. What are you doing with it?
It would be a lot easier to find another cherokee with an auto.
There are too few manual cherokees out there to begin with.

It would be easier with a "parts" cherokee and do the swap. But is all bolt on if you decide to do it. I agree with the guy above me and buy another cherokee.

I do daily driving and mild wheelin an a lil mud boggin. My trans guy is baffeled he can get me a rebuild for 1900.00. He also suggested the nv3550 from the late 80s early 90s dodge trucks its a direct bolt in. But yes I am lookin at another cherokee for parts or as a driver
