Does anybody know one of those "man I love forums" fixes for my driver seat belt that won't retract properly anymore? I am sick of slamming it in my door and having that little 4 inch mud stripe at the bottom of the seatbelt...

Take the assemble apart, grease up the roller. So thee spring has a easier time rolling it. It took me about a hour to get my door open. After the slack layed across the the striker pin. And the door was shut. (In a hurry, and didn't see it.)

 

And that worked just fine for you? How hard is it to take the seat belt mechanism apart?

 

It was harder to get to, (trim and all) then to fix it.
