No prob 3.4s are dime a dozen seems much simpler than 4.0 swap.

I think it would be easier to buy a later model Jeep and have it painted brown like yours.

Either that or buy an S-10 engine and do a direct swap.

4.0 motor swaps aren't bad at all just do ur research ! You'll get to keep ur rig and you'll have knowledge from experience . I swapped one in a day (had to replace a lot tho) with the right tools and 2 buddies

I have done 3-4 in the same because we had to keep putting motors in it cuz my buddy ordered a "turn" key motor from autozone. Motor swaps arent that hard just take your time doing them and I suggest taking lots of pix for reference

Autozone advertising line: "Our parts are a crapshoot. That's the reason we are cheaper."

Into an XJ with a 2.8? Most people don't want to modify the firewall...

Or play guess and check hacking apart the wiring harness.

2.8 swap to the 3.4 is really easy just did that swap on my brothers s10 blazer everything goes in the same spot on the 3.4 that it went on the 2.8 only thing is you have to run 4.3 injectors and advance the timing a few degrees. Hell of a power increase and well worth it. Just get a motor out of a 98 firebird
