Having a moron moment, pls hlp.
Pulled out overhead console to recover and I can not figure out how to disassemble it. I see three screws and four plastic locking tabs on the lights.
How do I get this out of the console?
Furthermore how do you replace the bulbs when its overhead. Do the lens pop off?
TIA for replies,
Troy

Not 100% sure but I believe you unscrew it from the front and slide it forward a bit and it should come out.

In the '90 overhead console, to completely dis-assemble. there's screws & tabs on the back side holding the components in. Such as comp/temp module, and four overhead light modules. the wiring just plugs in. I had mine completely apart. So I could recover it along with the headliner. If your comp/temp module is in working condition. be careful not to damage it. There extremely hard to come by. And MOPAR parts dealers, still want $695.00 for the factory replacement. (A 20 year old, "new" part). I found one on e-bay for $80, after a year of looking.
