Ido infact also know that but unless it was a trade in it would have been bought at a auction so it is likely to be recorded there like y carfax for my jeep shows 101xxx for Monroe county police in nj and then the previous owner for about 50 more miles

 

If he bought it at an auction, he would have a certified odometer statement and the bill of sale from the auction. If he refuses to show you the actual copy of the odometer statement, then walk away. Don't let them convince you they only have a copy. They have a actual colored paper from the auction.

I did the carfax and the guy askin the question did recive and there is infact a millage inconsistency listed on it so def a walk away deal

Yes and know he does sound as if knew there was issue and didn't take care of it. We had a 08 honda accord very nice clean car claimed 82k on last reported millage was 153k lol we sent back to auction but however we got it from Mannheim the largest car auction so they can take it back however he might have gotten from a smaller auction in whitch it's called a "red light car" meaning there's an issue and is sold as is there for the millage was the issue and he chose to buy and is now stuck with it
