The DRB2 connector(under the hood) connected to a live scanning system. There was a factory system and one from Snap-on. Have a fun time finding either... They were not terribly common back when, and are even rarer now. You however can check every single sensor output with a multimeter.

Billavista has a excellent series of articles on his site.

And freegdr... if you find a US market Jeep V-6 that is Renix, let me know... The 2.8 is a Chevy motor and used the Chevy control system(what little there was)

I have a 1990 jeep v-6 2 door that's been bleeding my dry 😑 Hella nice but having a hell of a time finding a compatent mechanic to work on it....
