I thought that was the impending death alarm.

Something must be wrong with mine. I can cruise at 75-90 no problem.

30-70 vibes intermittent vibes.

Vibes were not the problem. The problem was 3" on 31 10.5's and loose steering with no rear sway bar. Could hardly keep it in the lane.
Back to the topic. Find the source / location of your buzzer and yank it out. Problem solved.

I think 97+ plays it through the speakers... good luck trying to get rid of it.
(-96 is easy, you just yank the buzzer out)

I got my renix on 4" lift and 30" tires up to 110 going downhill with 1/4 throttle left.

it's built into the gauge cluster.

right near the speedometer.

bet there's a short.

do a gauge test. here's how you do it.

put key in ignition but DON'T TURN YET.

headlight switch pulled one notch back to the park/running lights position (the position WITHOUT headlights).

push and hold trip button on cluster while turning the key to the "run" position (DON'T start the jeep. only put it into the "run" position, which is where the key rests while vehicle is running).

continue to hold the trip meter button until you hear beeps and the gauge cluster starts going all crazy. this is the gauge cluster test mode. let us know if the beeping resumes when the speedo reaches 120km/53mph.

if it does, remove the cluster, clean the contacts, reinstall using dialectric grease...if that also does not work, get a new cluster.
