Default Hot Transmission

What can I do with a hot standard transmission? Any cooling suggestions?

This thing gets way too hot. I might try a synthetic tranny fluid but I cannot imagine it'll cool it that much.

You can add an auxiliary transmission cooler in addition to the built in factory cooler in the radiator. I'm on my phone so i can't search for you and provide you a link but search "transmission cooler" or "tranny cooler"

I thought you couldn't cool a manual transmission.

I can feel it through the carpet, my centre console, and sometimes my stick shift. The **** stays cool though.

That isn't necessarily abnormal. Not all that heat comes from the trans either. Still, if your fluid is in poor condition, changing it may cool things off some.
