Hot Start Problem
I have a 94 Cherokee 4.0 automatic 4x4. When it's cold in morning and any other time it has sat longer than an hour or so it starts and runs fine. But if I shut it off and try to restart it within about an hour or 30 minutes it will not fire. It cranks over fine. It just won't restart after it's been warmed up and shut off for a few minutes. I've checked and there is fuel in the fuel rail and I've even poured gas in the manifold and it won't fire - it is fuel injected. I was thinking a vapor lock but now I'm being told it is the crank shaft positioning sensor? Thoughts? Thanks.
