hey i have a 98 xj 5 speed manual thats making a squeaking noise in first gear but at times first and second. i replaced the water pump about a month ago so i know its not that. and if i put the car in neutral and rev to about 3500 a few times it usually stops for a while but it always comes back...maybe belt tension is too tight?? help please

 

Sounds like your belts going or the idler pulley bearing is shot....
