Horn Came on by itself and would not shut off
The other day I was backing out of the drive way and the horn came on full blast and man is it loud. I could not shut it off with out pulling off the connectors on the two horns. I drove around with it like this for a few days and today I thought I would try reconnecting it and it is working properly. Any ideas why this would happen? Could it be the wiring in the steering column?

On a 64 GMC "Handy-Van", the horn button grounded the horn relay to honk. If that wire grounded anywhere between the relay and the contact in the button it would honk.
It didn't have tilt or locking steering or anything, but I still had trouble with it. If it does it again maybe try changing the tilt.
On my 90 Jeep the relay is way up high in the corner on the left above the petals.
