So I bought an axle with intent to swap into my rig to get 4:10 ratio, after pulling apart and doing an inspection decided it needed tore down and new bearings, seals, u joints throughout the whole axle.
So my question is, is it possible to swap the carrier and gears to my axle in the Jeep, same as putting it back into the current axle its in? Or do I need to have it re shimmed and setup to go in?
