Default Hoodie

I had just finished replaceing everything but gearset and carrier in my dana 30. I thought I would check under the hood but when I pulled the hood lever nothing happend. Now how do I get the hood open?

It sucks.... Best damage free way I found is pull the corner markers and headlight bezels and remove the 4 13mm nuts holding the latches on the core support.

wait I'm confused. you finished working on you D30 and thought, hey let me just pop open the hood and see what's in there? lol
how is the info about the D30 relevant?

Only way to open the hood if the cable breaks is to remove the headlights. The latch catches are right behind the buckets. 12 or 13MM bolt and you can open the hood and replace the cable if needed.

depends where it breaks, if you break the lever off and you can get to cable you can pull it, all though if it breaks at the other end where the hood mechanism is you can go with oddgreens answer

I found the easy way was to craw under the front and reach up between the fans and pull the rod that connects the latches to the left, bingo.
