Hood Removal?!?!?!?

So I started painting my jeep finally and I need to remove my hood...

I know the basics but im wondering how you remove the latch cable to completely remove the hood from the jeep.

Anyone have any pointers?

Disconnect the cable end then push down and it'll slide out of the latch.

Yeah, just gotta essentially "unclip" it in 3 spots and wiggle the very end of it out. It's simple
