Unhappy high rpm shifts

hey guys im in need of some help, i have a strange problem, first let me start by letting you know that my cherokee is a 2000 limited, 4.0l, aw-4 into a np242. the problem i am here for is my transmission wont upshift until its way high in the rpms, sometimes it will shift eventually, sometimes i have to let off the throttle for it to shift. i am assuimng this is some sort of electrical problem becuase i discovered that when driving down the road, if i bump it into netural, kill the engine and restart it while still rolling, it shift perfect everytime. i have recently replaced all 02 sensors, the throttle position sensor, and idle air control. they were all bad. now the idiot light is no longer on, but still 9 times out of ten it revs way to high before shifting. is there anyway to test the TCM? also it runs really rough and stalls out when in reverse sometimes. can ya'll help me out here maybe?
