ok. power steering is deff acting up... and its leaking form the "top" line. im thinking thats the high pressure line. but please contradict me if im wrong. it looks like im leaking. but im going to dye check it soon. but how hard is that line to replace? cause i cant get a wrench down there to unscrew the bolts... and can someone give me a picture of which bolt to loosen on a 95 xj sport auto 4.0 to loosen the belt?

 

That line is easy to replace, just remove the air box so you can get to the steering box. You'll need 16mm and 18mm wrenches. Getting the bottom connection started is a bit tricky, just keep it loose untill both ends are screwed in a few threads, and make sure to install the new Orings that come with the new hose. I think the hose is less than 50 bucks at NAPA.

 

well, i found out its my return line. so i need to buy some hose... which is like 3 bucks a yard. but how do i put the hose into my screw in parts. like what the current hose is in.

 

If you are talking about the line on top of the pump, that is the pressure line. the return line is the one going into the side of the fluid reservoir.
