Default high pitched noise?

My daughter's 2000 jeep cherokee classic makes a high pitched sound.
It usually after engine is warm , you are driving>15mph and you take your foot off the gas. It stops making the noise if you slow< 10 or if you are idling like at a stop light. Its very high pitched, Kinda like a dog whistle. It does not make noise when you are accelerating. Any Ideas? Thanks. Its not the antenna or radio. Still makes noise if radio is off.

I am thinking it is a Pulley or the belt is going out. Alot of time the bearing on pulleys will scream at you on low speed and then once it gets going a lil it kinda shuts up.

I had a saturn and the tensioner pulley was going out on it and would scream it **** off till i finally got too above 25 mph then it would shut up again.

Try some belt dressing down there lil squirts on each pulley till it quiets down then fixed the selected area.

HTH

Intake manifold bolt #11, closest to the firewall (upper bolt). Had the same problem with my Jeep Classic. Tightened bolt to 24 ft-lbs. Turned maybe half a turn. Whistling noise stopped.
