Ok, I've been having this problem for the last 8 months and I'm tired of throwing parts at it!

If I drive the Jeep around for a while and shut it off it won't start back up. Or if it does it runs like crap for about a min then smooths out. I was moving to a new house yesterday and each time I got back in it to go it got worse until it just wouldn't start. If I let it sit for a while it starts. Also even if I let it sit for a while it still runs scrappy for about 30 seconds then smooths out... OBD2 reader does not read any codes!

Here's a little history on recent parts: fuel injectors, plug wires, plugs, temp sensor, cps, upline o2 sensor, oil change.
About 10 months ago: Tps, iac, fuel filter

Jeep has no cat (that's how I bought it), cold air intake, reset the computer yesterday.

These are the things I'm thinking of but let me know if I'm wrong: I plan to replace the ecu, add cat with new downline o2 sensor, and possibly a map sensor??

 

Whats the fuel pressure in psi? Ever perform a compression test?

 

No I haven't... All I know is there is pressure because I checked but never hooked it up to check psi
