Default High oil pressure

Just had a bunch of engine work done on my '00 XJ. My issues now is high oil pressure rather than low. The oil pump was just replaced and now the pressure reads at 75 or so on start up and then drops to about 60-65 at idle after it warms up. Pressure goes up when I drive it.
What's the deal? What is the next step in fixing this?

Those oil pressure senders are notorious for failing. Remove the plug and see if it's oily in there.
