High idle Renix
'89 cherokee just got done swapping a 4.0 out of a '97 in runs fine except it idles at 2300rpm and all the vacuum lines are going where they should. I am positive, and the intake bolts are tight. Any ideas?

Just a quick thought - but check the throttle cable and that the cruise control cable (if connected) isn't pulling down on it for some reason?
This actually happened on my 4.3l, realized it, and just d/ced the cruise control cable.
