Hey y’all
i am chasing a high idle after warmup issue that shoots my rpm to about 2k. I have replaced the IAC and TPS. Used carb cleaner and can’t find any specific leaks. I checked the TB bolts and made sure they are snug. I have 2 ports on the intake manifold under the MAP that are not plugged or have connectors. Any idea what they are? I have shown them in the pics. Could they be a source of vac leak?
I appreciate the help
the 2 holes you point out are mounting holes for the fuel line retainer. i dont believe those are through holes for your intake but if they are - plug them. You can check this easily by letting the engine run and put your finger over the holes - finger don't stick then its not a through hole. I would look through all of your vacuum lines and especially the rubber elbows used at the various ports throughout the intake manifold, the vacuum ballast and evap canister. Those are common to dry out and crack especially if they are factory pieces
