Hey guys I have a 1998 xj and this all just came out of the blue its wanting to idle at about 2200 rpms in park and neutral, and at about 1500 in drive and reverse. Anybody know what could be causing this? It's not throwing a check engine light. All help is greatly appreciated.

 

I have had this problem multiple times. Each time it was a combination of the tps and iac.

 

Did your throw a c/e light?
