high beams wont shut off

Default high beams wont shut off

the switch inside the steering colum on my 91 xj broke and now the high beams are on and wont shut off. is there a wire i can dissconect or something to perminintly disegage the high beams.

cut the high beam wire behind the headlight. just remember to cap it so it cant ground out.

Why not just fix it the right way? Not trying to be an a$$. Just asking. you have to remember if you live in a state that requires a safety inspection you would have to get them fixed or you may not pass.

A better cheapo way to do it is throw a switch and a relay in there, or rewire the headlight switch to an external switch.

I would fix it the right way but I just put my steering column apart and put it back tougher. I really don't wanna do it again if I can do it an easier way I want to. Also what wire should I wire the switch and relay into. I'm not that good at wiring so the more details the better. Thanks
