I've lurked on this site a bit and checked and cannot see that anyone has the same problem, lots of similar problems and lot of opposite problems.
My low beam work fine. But when I try to pull the lever for high beam nothing happens. If I have the radio on when trying to pull the lever for high beam there is lots of interference. After about 15 minutes of having low beam on (no static from the radio) I can then pull for high beam and they work, with no static on the radio.
We've checked the bulbs and the fuses (but each high beam has its own fuse so unlikely to be both fuses gone), made sure everything is tight in both fuseboxes. And it still does it. In fact it could be getting worse.
This started four days ago and it took a couple of minutes for the high beam to work and now its up to about 15 minutes before high beam works.
Any thoughts on where to start checking wiring? Its due its MOT in about a month so I may just pull the MOT forward and get the garage to check it out, but if I can give them an idea of what it is there's less chance of being ripped off.
Thanks in advance.
