Ok so wile trying to figure out way my 94 XJ is not starting only cranking. I found a relay box under the lower dash just to the right of the Steering column.

I have read read and read my chiltons manual and it is not in there no where. Does anyone know what hey r for????

 

Got spark? Got fuel? You should hear the fuel pump run a couple seconds when you turn the ign. on. Also fuel should shoot into the rag you are holding there if you depress the deal in the Schrader valve on your rail.

Sans having a republican congressman, you can check spark by holding the body of a spark plug on a good ground and cranking it. A crisp blue snap is nice.
