Go thru wiring with a voltmeter, with the hid lights power on. Start at the bad light, and see where you lost voltage. work towards power source. could be as easy as a bad crimped wire connector......................................... ................JMO!

Are they bi-xenon HIDs? Or do they use halogen high beams? If they use halogen high beams see if the halogen portion works. Also, you should be able to hear a high pitched buzzing coming from the ballasts when the HID portion is on.
