Default Hey guys been a while, more questions :)

Ok, so i've fixed the idleing issue a/c still leaks a lil that's what going to be next on my to do list, but there is a vaccum leak somewhere that is causeing the a/c to blow from the defrost vent. This happened after i rebuilt the head any ideas where the leak could be?

Also another question, i plan to replace my shocks and struts on the jeep both the front and rears, what are some brands you recommend and if someone could possibly post a link or two of how to change them, thanks.

Next question (sorry about them all) I was recently given two rocker panels for my jeep, they are for a 1997 jeep country, not a 1997 jeep sport, does that matter, or are the panels different?

one more (sorry) Recently black ants have some how invaded my jeep, how i don;t have a clue, but it was sitting for about a month while i was rebuilding the head. Any tips on how to get rid of em, got yelled at yesterday by my girl because they "invaded" her drink. (personally i thought it was funny)

I'd assume that a vaccum line near the head is the culprit since that's where you were last working. Check them all. Easy enough.

These Jeeps don't use struts. Only shocks. If you don't plan to spend a boat load of money then any gas shock will do. They're all the same. I use Monroe.

Rocker panels? As in weldin rocker replacements? Either way, all panels are identical from 1997-2001 across all trim levels.

They make insect bombs for ants. Buy one.

I loved the one about the ants. My new girlfriend took her dog for a drive in her car and she had a soda. Need less to say her dog knocked the soda over. The next day her car was FULL of ants. So we put in one of those bug bombs and awe let it sit for the day. It worked great. Just vacuumed out all the dead ants and no more problem.

New question. Just remembered about it, just happened to me yesterday. When i'm accelerating really slowly, barely touching the gas pedal, it seems as if my transmission slips only when chaning gears, however when i'm driving regualarly it does not happen. i'm thinking about changing the tranny oil to see if that might fix it, because i have no idea the last time the stuff was changed.

I wouldn't recommend getting the bottom tier Monroe shocks (you know, the $25 yellow ones). Go with the next tier or get a good $60 rancho shock. I used the cheapo Monroe's and got a horrible clunking in one of them after just a couple of months. Switched to a mid tier rancho and it's much smoother.

Yeah, if you're going to spend 60$ on shocks, might as well spend a bit more and get Bilsteins.
