Exclamation Hey all!

Hey all!
I am getting ready to purchase a 1998 JEEP CHEROKEE CLASSIC SPORT, 4X4, WITH 3" LIFT KIT, MICKY THOMPSON OVERSIZED TIRES. THIS TRUCK WILL GO ANYWHERE. POWER WINDOWS, LOCKS,ROOF RACK, CD PLAYER. 9000LB WINCH ON FRONT BUMPER THAT IS EASILY CONTROLLED FROM DRIVERS SEAT. THIS HAS THE IN-LINE V6, 4.0 LITR. Are there anythings i should be aware of about that year, model. I have pictures. I hope someone can help me!!!

Looks awesome man. But just FYI it's an Inline 6, not a V6. Just make sure the floors aren't rotted out. Also, check to see that oil isn't squirting into the air filter through the CCV hose coming from the valve cover. Check the driveline angles and make sure the 4x4 engages smoothly. Check all the fluids and make sure everything is up to par. Just out of curiosity, how much is he asking?

Doesn't seem like a bad deal, but you won't know until you check it out in person. It looks like it's in immaculate condition, so $3400 seems reasonable, especially compared to what some people are asking for their mildy modified XJs. Also, do you know the mileage on it?

Yes, they also produce the V5 found in the Volkswagen Quantum 5 . But the VW really came with a straight 5 motor. How odd is that?

Not bad at all... it's still a baby considering these motors pass the 300,000 mile mark with regular maintenance.

No, I'm just saying the motor is still young... Barely broken in. The 4.0L has plenty of power and lasts forever.
