Hi Guys,

First time posting, but i read the thread all the time.

So my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 wouldn't start. Tested the battery and starter, starter bad. Replaced it. Still no start. Replaced the ignition coil. No Start. Replaced the Crank Position Sensor and the fuel pump (it was leaking gas- bent nozzle) , still no start. Replaced the battery and the alternator tested bad, replaced that and Yay it started.

Ran well for 2 days then bam no start no crank. Replaced the starter relay and its good to go. A day later there is hesitation when it starts and the check engine light comes on. If i give it gas it starts. No issues when its running, no idling issues, no sluggishness, or anything. Its only when you first try to start it.

I'm thinking either the Timing is off, the tps, iat, or map.

Am i far off, which would be the first to check and is there anything else i can do?
