Hesitation....GONE!!!
Finally.
95 Sport, 4l auto trans.
New:
Fuel Pump, Filter, Fuel Pressure Regulator (and rubber hoses at the back end).
New Plugs, Wires, Distributor cap and rotor, coil.
New Fuel Pump Relay.
New Crank Position Sensor and Throttle Position Sensor.
New Oil, Filter, Trans fluid, filter.
New Water Pump, Radiator, T-Stat.
Starter.
Battery.
Floors (16ga, covered with Herculiner).
Rear hatch shocks.
Exhaust Manifold.
O2 Sensor.
Belt.
U-joints at the front wheels and rear driveshaft.
(1 Y.O. used/rebuilt Alternator)
Used 231 T-case (old 242 had been grinding).
Today I put a used PCM (ECU) into it. The hesitation (and rough idle) were gone!. Drove it 3 times and about 20 miles to work...no problems...
Drives pretty well (OK, drives damn well for the miles of 178k....but that's probably because of all the new stuff).

Did over 100 miles in 'daily' driving type stuff over the last two days. Wish I had the stereo hooked up, but it's still going strong.

I was checking for visible wear/damage on my PCM and while doing so blew the surface dust off. Either way, I didn't see any damage, wear or corrosion and the actual area around the pins. But now it's been running a bit smoother. The hesitation went away for a day or two, and is minimal now and goes away if I go like 50 percent throttle for a sec. Getting better gas milage, I think around 20mpgs.. Mostly interstate. Think a new PCM is soon to be.. I've done everything else as well... :[

Okay, I ordered my ECU from the JY and its on its way. I going to try this out and hopefully it will work. Have one question for you, did you reset the pcm after you put it in? I have read some threads and found some that told how to reset it. If you did.....how?

From a thread (I was directed to on a gunboard I read regularly) there are 3 capacitors on the board that get old (don't hold their charge), and the capacitors can be replaced to correct most of the problems. Now that I have a good ECU/PCM in it, I may try with the old one.
