HELP TURNSIGNALS and Wipers not working

i have a 85 2.5L Cherokee. the turn-signals or wipers not working. i checked fuses all seem to be fine. is there a way to test the switch?

You use a volt/ohm meter. Test the connections and switch.

k guys i read through older post and checked if the brights worked and they did, after that i turned the blinkers on and they worked! but wipers not working still. the switch @ the parts store is $140!! and the junk yard wants 120 for the whole column cant just buy the switch. DO U HAVE ANOTHER SUGGESTIONS OR IDEAS? thanks
