!!!!!Help!!!!! Tried to reset XJ computer no start!!

!!!!!Help!!!!! Tried to reset XJ computer no start!!
I tried to reset the computer because i installed a cold air intake, it started before I reset the computer
this is what I did

Now it will start if i have my foot on the pedal, but when I take my foot off it cuts out!
Tested Battery *Not Dead*
ANY HELP!!! Please???!!!!

I did the battery is actually dead, she will crank when were jumpin her
but i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep her goin'

the battery seems dead
it wont start by itself because of the battery, after running it with my foot on the gas pedal, then restarting the engine, she idled but the little sentry key light came and stayed on
ny explenation?

Somehow lost a memory setting for the sentry?? 
Or your actually fighting the security system, not electrical, or somethings still unplugged.

Well the battery got shot, and it seemed like the key light was related to that.
Shes runnin better than ever with a new battery
