Default HELP. Touch up paint

I'm that guy who tries to do research before using up space on the forum page. But I couldn't find **** on the Internet. Almost like it doesn't exist.

Now for the life of me, i can't find the touch up trim paint color for 1996 jeep cherokee country. The code is R7Y6. It's like a champagne and a white together almost. Anyone know where I can find it? I'd really like to restore my jeep back to factory look.

I have never tried online, but your local auto paint store will have what you need. It has been quite a few years, but my local PPG would put paint in rattle cans for you as well as regular quartz.

Maybe try Eastwood....com

Read post #4. I posted a link to a good paint supplier.

I tried that website but it didnt match up codes or jeep colors anything like that. it seemed like they wanted you to just buy a whole new color.

"R7Y6"

I don't think that's a paint code, should be either 3 or 7 characters alphanumeric.

Not sure if it would be called pearlstone? Paintref.com and automotivetouchup.com are both showing a color by that name for '96

Duplicolor is always the manufacturer I used for touch-up paint, with their 3-'n'-1 Scratch Repair Kit, which was a small brush and paint pen, all in one little Sharpie-sized device. They don't always sell the color you need in the store, but they do have most colors online. The color I think is Light Sandstone Pearl for the trim.

I know this is over a year old, but it's the only place on the internet that I've found this code. Was it correct?
