Default Help with tire choice

I just ordered my RE 3.5" lift for my 1998 xj. I am now looking at buying some Maxxis Bighorn tires to top it all off. I am from Western Washington near Evans Creek. So we get alot of rain, some snow, and lots of mud.

Does anyone have any opinions or experiences they could share to help me out on my decision?

Thanks

I think you made a good choice on the lift..I went with the RE 3.5 as well...I am personally looking at all sorts of tires for when I move from 30's to 31's..

CooperSTT's, excellent MT tire. I have never lost traction on road once. I couldnt be happier and I expect to get 60k out of them.

Cooper makes some real good tires, you should look at the ones Kyle suggested. Hancook and Toyo also make a good A/T and M/T tires. Try to look and price those three brands and then you have a choice to pick from.

If you like the BFG AT KO's or however its called. Definitely look into the General Grabber AT 2's. They are an identical match to the BFG for about $30 cheaper a tire. I just ordered my set on saturday along with my 4.5" RC lift. .
