The Coopers are pretty sweet looking.

I am trying to decide between the Coopers and the Firestone Destination M/T's.

Has anyone had any experience with the Firestones? The price difference here is only about $20 for the set.

I love my STT's, I would recommend them over any basic MT.

I dont like the Firestone brand since it had that problem with the Ford Explorers that they suddenly go BOOM .. or deflated

that crap made my mom had an accident

I agree and they have no real warranty. I got a new truck with Firerocks on it a few years back and the tread started to seperate so I took it to the stealership and he sent me to the Firerock place and they said tuff luck. So I bought some Coopers to replace the Firerocks and pledged to never buy anymore of their products. They also make the Bridgerocks too.

Looks like I'm probably going with the Coopers. I called around and found a place in town I can get 33's, mounted, balanced, etc for $722.80.

I'll have to wait another week or so to come up with the $$, but they have to order them anyway. That's about $125 cheaper than I've found them anyplace else.

I've had good luck with Firerock truck tires, but really bad luck with any of their passenger tires. I had a lady hire me to drive her pickup to San Diego. She had brand new 11-15s on all four corners. She lost two coming down from Alaska and I lost one crossing the mountains.

Exactly my point Firerocks can't be trusted. The one that I had seperate on me was on a pick-up and was less than 3 months old. Firerock said that their tires had no road hazard warrantee and then i pointed out that the seperation was not caused by a road hazard. They still refused to give any credit on the tire or to replace it unless I paid full price for a new tire.
