I am not well experienced with Jeeps but I do know that if you used add-a-leaf system then it can do just that. It can make your ride stiffer than factory. There isnt much that you can do about it. You could try oiling it up a bit. It could be that something is simply wrong. It could try possibly put spacers on it but, like I said, I'm not too familiar with Jeeps.

Old Man Emu Shocks. I also run 28 psi front and 30 rear for street driving. Adjustable lower control arms can help with the caster angles.

You need to calm down and give people a chance to reply.
I need shocks and mine still flex's pretty good. I feel a lot of the bumps but i don't mind it too much.

yea i guess your right. i think i need some new ball joints and tie rod ends. not that it has something to do with the stiff ride so im getting them tomorrow. also what would cause me to constantly be back and forth with the steering wheel. it wont seem to stay steady or straight?

My thoughts on the steering wheel wander are.. check the steering box adjuster. I found some info here in one of the threads and tightened that up. Made a huge difference. I also broke my oil cooler line while i was at it.LOL. but, that was only $25 at Napa. You gotta watch out though not to tighten the adjuster down to tight though, i guess that you can destroy the bearings inside the steer box by putting to much pressure on them.

Well, what is minimum pressure? tire walls say max 50psi, don't mention minimum. Aside from possible loss of fuel economy is it alright to take that down to 28? I went ahead and took them down to 40 and will test them out at that pressure.

The swaybar, with proper bushings, does absorb some of the shock of the little bumps. Another thing to look at are the upper control arm bushings, mine were shot and lead to some nasty DW. Replacing those made a big difference for me, PITA to replace though! The drop brackets idea is a good one, except that you may need to use stock length control arms if your RE's are fixed. Just my thoughts.

Also, I run 28 PSI on my 31's no issues. Watch for cupping though.
