Help! Replacing Leaf Pack and Stock Shackle
That's why I don't even bother posting there anymore. It's pretty obvious he was at his last resort in doing this! Then he gets flamed during a very frustrated time, THANKS A LOT!! Oh well don't want to get yelled at for going OT.
Stryker, did you ever get that fixed to your liking??

NAXJA can get you flamed like a steak on the grill but you get a few real good answers too. I sometimes flame a bit over there but only if it is a question that has been asked a million times like how big of a tire can I use without a lift or stupid questions that are just someone not looking things up like how many quarts of oil will I need to change the oil in my XJ. Stuff that is in the owners manual or on the Internet & every parts house will also know how much you need.
Here at CF there is not that much tech stuff yet and sometimes this forum is all but dead. On NAXJA there are people on that forum 24/7/365 and someone will chime in in just a few minutes to whatever you ask if only to flame like Strykers first AH. Someone will respond to your question no matter how stupid or how many times it has been asked.

I agree, there is a lot of good information to be had over there. I will search but lately have avoided asking any questions. When I do ask a question, it is because I need an answer, not my hand slapped and sent to my room. It is just not worth it.

Well alright guess we got alittle off track.
Well i didnt get to start on the leafs this weekend but i have started soakin them in the PB blaster.
What did do was try and pull off my rear rubber brake line to replace so i can have brakes when i install the new leafs. Problem is there so damn tight/stuck that i rounded one of thebrake line nuts and about to round off the other.
Any idea's hoe to ge these damn things loose with out brakin the hardlines or rounding them anymore???

In your particular application you will need 5 tankers of oil and 73 fram screw on left hand threaded filters. Have a seriously wondermus day.

Damn im not just a regular wrench which is why im rounding im sure since they dont fit the greatest. Thanks for lettin me know ill go down and pick one up.
Pipe wrench or vice grips will work. I used two vice grips on mine. Came right off followed by a flow of brake fluid down my arms into my pits......

I am working on my leafs also. I think I am having every problem in the book with my 87 though. I had to replace the hard lines for the breaks. Not gonna say how do to possible Flamage.
Just got done cutting holes in my rear bed to acces shock nuts. Not happy since my rear was rhino lined.
But I got both leafes mounted now. Tomorrow I cut out the weld nuts for my shocks. I got an Idea for remounting now. so I can still button up the top.
IF you have any questions i am sure i can help you answer just PM me if i dont get back to this thread I am always on here.
