help removing rear pinion seal

i already got the shaft and yoke off and even the rubber part of the seal but the metal part wont budge.... any suggestions?

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Drill two small holes across from eachother in the seal and screw in some sheet metel screws, then grap the screws with visegrips and yank the seal out.

You can try and pry it out with a big screwdriver or a crow bar even (I have done both) or you can get the seal removal tool and use a slide hammer.
