help: rear main seal
Hi, i have recently noticed my rear main seal is leaking. i have a 98 cherokee with 156,000 mile on it. i was wondering how hard it is to replace it. i am in high school and i think my mechanical skills are decent. i was just wondering what tools i will need to have and possibly some tips from you guys as to how this fix should go.
All help is appreciated, thank you.

its a really easy rear main to replace, when I did mine all I had to do was detach the shocks from the front axle, and the pan dropped straight down, and pulled the main cap off and tapped the old seal out, and put the new one in.
all in all it took me a few hours. its still leaking, but at least its not from the rear main anymore, hahaha
