cut up to the pinch weld, then fold over.

i think the cut and fold method does prove to be the best b/c you cant trim a lot in the rear. ends up lookin good too.

Hate to hijack, but I was wondering the same thing. I don't recall seeing a writeup on here has any detail on exactly how to do the "cut and fold" for the rear (correct me if I'm wrong). I understand the concept but some pictures would be nice.

so does a dremel work for cutting the fenders

XJ?2010 01-16-2009 08:39 PM

It would take you a long time and a lot of wheels

claygrassmann 01-16-2009 08:41 PM

it prolly could i kno there is another thread on here that a guy used tin snips to do it. i just cut mine up a lil bit today and my angle grinder went thru them like a fish thru water. but you can pick up angle grinders from tsc for like 30 bucks and its totally worth it. im sure that sometime soon im gonna be gettin another!

lifted93xj 01-16-2009 08:44 PM

Yea i have a angle grinder but i was just wondering because i think the cut would be more precise but i think a grinder will do.
