So as i was driving it started bogging down/ losing power and when i stopped it dieseled for a minute then died. I got it to start again like 30 minutes later. I noticed while driving i heard a humming noise coming from back maybe fuel pump? And also noticed when i turn right it bogs down and wants to stall but not when im turning left. Does this sound like the fuel pump is bout to die? Its a 93 xj. No mods. Please need some help to fix it asap. Its my daily driver.

 

it might be the fuel pump, maybe you can get the fuel pressure tested.

 

My, daughters 96 cherokee would die only on right hand turns, it would start right back up. fuel pressure was fine. mechanic friend checked that out, and had the good sense to shake the living **** out of it. that made it stall, and he could here a sucking sound in the tank. new fuel pump problem solved. good luck

 

Sweet. So it was just the fuel pump then? Thanks alot im gona try it today. Do u know if it was difficult replacing it? Never done a fuel pump before. Lol.
