Going backwards today putting everything back together. Got engine mount in. Mounted the Exhaust manifold/'intake. Then went to attach the pipes to the manifold. Had to loosen the hanging bracket in back and push the pipes forward. I think with the engine mount so bad, the pipes moved. So no big deal to push forward. But then to attach it. The thread was all bunged up. Couldn't put the nuts on. So now back apart and chasing the threads. I had tried to get that donut gasket off mating the pipes to install the new one. Couldn't budge it so I left it the first time. It's on the floor so maybe I'll remove it. How can I get it off. !
Or don't worry about it? Trying to eliminate all exhaust leaks to pass smog.

So just wail on it. I can do that. Looks almost welded on. I did try prying. The new one should press back Ok.
What are the odds of it leaking if I leave the old one?
