i have an 88 jeep cherokee 4.0 5 speed. yesterday i was doing a cylinder balance test when i put the last plug wire back on ,the engine dies and had no spark after that. i replaced the crank position sensor. still no fire. its realy odd that it ran fine and when i did this test it lost spark alomost like a voltage spike but to what? no spark at the renix ignition coil. i have voltage to the yellow wire going into the ic module when the key is in the on position.
