Question Help new noise an it dont sound good

Ok Guys this one is really bothering me alot but it only happens when i am on the interstate doin about 70 thru 85 an i let off the gas it sounds like its comming from my auto transmission.. its like a metal bead rolling sound i am lost an dont know what to think any sugestions will help

sounds like something out of a MT i know a MT has that sound some times. when was the last time you changed the fluid and filter?

well i have a small leak at the rear seal on my transmisson where the driveshaft goes in so im always checking the fluid level but since ive had it havent done nothing to the tranny besides put fluid in

wiggle your 4wd lever and see if it provokes the noise to worsen or resolve, it may be your 4wd lever linkage.

i have a 2 wheel drive an the noise is comming from underneath the jeep i can feel a vibration in my feet when it does this but i also have a vibration that has been here for a while an i took a kinda sharp right turn an the vibration stopped could it possible be my transmission mount is going bad or is bad

Yeah disregard checking the eh....4wd lever...lol. The above poster said a U-Joint, that would be my next item to check.

I had a loud grunting like sound on coasting decel after installing a budget boost in my 2001 4x4. Never did find out what it was from (u-joint, slip yoke, something). Never will, either, since I installed a SYE today. Have you modified the suspension lately?

I had that after my lift and it was my pinion angle was off. I would check thatr and u joints. Do you have any lift?

i have a rough counrty 3in lift with 30s for the past yr now an its just started making this sound
