Default HELP need info on 2 WD

i have a 98 jeep cherokee sport its 2wd i getting a 4.5 in lift i ben reading about how 4.5 should use a t drop but i dont have a transfer case what would i have to do

TC drop acually drops the whole tranny. I don't think you should run into a issue here.

The kit should come with simple instructions. Not that its aways simple getting it apart. took me a day and a half to do mine thanks to the winter salt. I don't know were to get a video though.

2wd will have a longer driveshaft, so it may not be an issue (then again, 4.5 is pretty high...). Have you talked with a lift company to ask about the necessity of a drop? My 2wd already had a 3.5" installed when I bought it and it has no trans drop of any kind, and no axle wedge shims either.

I'm just guessing here but me thinks a longer drive shaft & maybe tilt the rearend if you get vibration.
